The refrigerator has been defested and still keeps ringing. Why? Effective noise removal methods
We want any appliance to be quiet during operation. I believe everyone has also discovered this problem. The refrigerator at home operates all year round. As time goes by, the noise from the refrigerator becomes louder. Some maintenance masters said that it may be caused by too much frost in the refrigerator. So, why does the refrigerator always ring non-stop after it has been defused?
slosh noise
The shaking noise is difficult to distinguish. Most of the time, it just makes a “buzzing” sound, making people think it’s the sound of the compressor working normally. But in fact, if the buzzing sound is loud, it may be amplified by the feet of the refrigerator.
Refrigerators are not close to the ground, but are supported by four or six feet. If these feet are uneven, the normal vibration of the refrigerator compressor will cause the entire refrigerator to shake, and the sound of shaking will be amplified through the gap between the refrigerator feet and the ground.
Solution: The feet of the refrigerator can be adjusted. We need to adjust them according to the slope and height of the ground until the entire refrigerator remains level. If necessary, we can put a level ruler on the refrigerator to assist in measurement. If the refrigerator foot is broken, replace it in time. Never use anything else to lift this foot.
Line noise
As we said just now, even a normal refrigerator will cause a little shaking when the compressor is working. This kind of shaking over time, coupled with the aging of the parts that fix the pipes, may cause the pipes to become loose (there are many metal pipes inside the refrigerator).
Loose pipes may come into contact with the refrigerator shell during vibration, causing a slight and continuous “thump” sound. Generally, refrigerators that have been used for many years suddenly become louder, and this is basically the problem.
Solution: Open the refrigerator shell and re-strengthen the pipes. However, the outer shells of many refrigerators are sealed. Opening the outer shell requires cutting directly. If you install it again, you cannot put it back. You can only use tape to stick it. Whether it is on the appearance or the cooling effect, there will be some impact. Therefore, if the noise is not too loud to bear, it is recommended not to carry out maintenance easily.
transmission noise
“Other buyers of the same model of refrigerator responded very well. Why is there such a loud noise when you arrive at my house?” At this time, it may be your home environment that makes it easier to transmit the normal noise generated by the refrigerator.
The normal noise generated by the refrigerator is mainly concentrated at the bottom (the compressor is installed here). If the distance between the refrigerator and the ground is relatively close, the noise generated by the compressor may produce a reverberation effect here. Especially when the floor on which the refrigerator is placed is uneven, it is very likely that the four feet are flat and a piece suddenly protrudes out in the middle of the bottom of the refrigerator.
Solution: Check whether the bottom of the refrigerator is flat and there is no debris. The bottom of the refrigerator must be at least 3 cm away from the ground.
fan noise
An important component in the air-cooled refrigerator is the fan. When the fan is working, it will definitely make noise. And the longer the years go, the more dust sticks to the fan surface, and the louder the noise will be-even the best refrigerator will become obvious after five or six years of use.
If you buy an air-cooled refrigerator at home, it is very normal for it to be louder than a direct-cooled refrigerator at work. If the air-cooled refrigerator has been used for some years, the noise may be several times or even dozens of times louder than the one you just bought.
Solution: Just replace the fan or clean the fan. However, the machine also needs to be disassembled, and it is recommended not to repair it unless it is absolutely necessary.
If your refrigerator is newly purchased and there is loud noise, it is recommended to contact the supplier directly to replace it. If the service life is relatively long, you can directly ask a professional teacher for door-to-door maintenance.
