What is ice clogging? Treatment methods for ice clogging in refrigerators
Refrigerator is one of the must-have household appliances in our lives and brings great convenience to our lives. However, during use of the refrigerator, some faults will also occur, which will affect normal use. Today, let’s understand what is Ice clogging phenomenon?
After the refrigerator has been working for a period of time, the capillaries will become blocked with ice. The manifestation of ice blockage is that the refrigerator cools for a while and does not cool for a while. It is normal when the refrigerator starts to work. After a period of time, the blockage begins to frost, and the evaporation temperature reaches below 0 degrees. Water collects in the narrow part of the capillary tube, gradually turning the tube The hole is blocked, and then the evaporator melts frost, no airflow sound can be heard, and the low pressure is negative pressure. It should be noted that this phenomenon is intermittent, sometimes good and bad. In order to determine whether it is an ice blockage early, hot water can be used to heat the blockage to melt the ice body at the blockage. After a while, if you hear a sudden jet of air flow, the suction pressure will also increase, which means that it is an ice blockage.
processing method
Cut the capillary tube and the compressor return pipe, weld the return pipe to a process port, and blow the low pressure pipe with nitrogen. If there is no nitrogen, use a compressor to add a filter, and pressure and blow with a pressure gauge.
Restore the pipeline after blowing, and then use the following methods:
1. Use a double-tailed filter or make an eye on an ordinary filter (both end and end can be used), weld an air conditioning capillary tube, and weld a process port on the other end of the capillary tube to connect it to the high-pressure end of the three-headed snow meter. The low pressure end is connected to the compressor process port and the intermediate and indirect vacuum pump. It is best to use transparent hoses for all snow types so that the moisture in the pipes can be observed.
2. Close the low pressure gauge valve (keep the low pressure valve closed) and open the high pressure gauge valve. The refrigerator and vacuum pump are powered on, and the compressor itself is used to self-exhaust and the vacuum pump is sucked in to make the evacuation more thorough.
3. Use a high-power electric hair dryer to heat the bottom of the compressor (if you bake it for a long time, the temperature will be higher, and the filter will also be heated. It is best to bake it back and forth a few times over heat. If there is moisture, you will see that there is a large amount of water vapor in the transparent hose connected to the capillary tube.
4. After about 20 minutes, close the valve and prepare to seal it. It is safer to add snow seeds. Use glue pliers to flatten it, then cut it off by 5 mm, seal it with a welding gun, open the low pressure valve and then draw vacuum for a while. If you don’t want to seal it, leave a craft opening directly in the air conditioner capillary tube.
Note: If the water droplets condense on the fluoridation pipe and cannot be extracted, be sure to use a snow seed top to empty it, and then take time to add it. It is best to change the pipe and add it. This step is very critical. Many masters have to freeze again after evacuating because the water cools down in the pipe and cannot be discharged, resulting in all previous efforts being wasted.
The ice blockage of the refrigerator has affected normal use. It is recommended to contact the after-sales service in time or find a professional master for door-to-door maintenance.
