What is the reason why the natural gas water heater does not ignite? Natural gas water heater failure
In the hot summer, we have to take a bath every day, so we need to use a water heater. Among them, although the gas water heater is small, it is also composed of several parts. As long as one part is damaged, the gas water heater will not start on fire during daily use.
1. power problems
Check whether the indicator light of the natural gas water heater is normal after the power supply is powered on.
Solution: Replace the battery.
2. Electric igniter failed.
If there is no ignition sound when turning on the natural gas, it may be that the igniter of the natural gas water heater has failed. It is necessary to check whether the pulse igniter or controller is working properly.
Solution: Replace the igniter of the natural gas water heater.
3. failure of the solenoid valve
If there is no “click” sound from the solenoid valve during ignition, the solenoid valve may be damaged or aged or out of control. It can be sucked in at the early stage of ignition and caught fire, but it will turn off when it is closed; if the gas pressure is too high or too low, the output pressure of the cylinder pressure reducing valve will be too high or too low, and the water heater will not be able to ignite; the solenoid valve has dirt. The gas can’t get out, so there’s no fire.
Solution: If the solenoid valve ages, replace the solenoid valve. If it is an air pressure problem, replace the cylinder. If anything becomes clogged, it must be cleaned up, and circuit problems need to be repaired by professionals.
4. water pressure
When the water pressure is too low, the gas water heater cannot start normally, or the filter at the inlet of the gas water heater is blocked and water cannot flow normally.
Solution: When the water pressure is too low, use the water heater to stagger the peak period of water consumption; if the filter at the water inlet is blocked, you only need to clean it.
5. Reason for natural gas
Check whether the natural gas source is connected or the channel is blocked, and whether the receiving air pipe meets the requirements.
Solution: Turn on the air source and clean the air inlet filter. If the connected air type does not meet the requirements, the water heater needs to be modified.
6. The smoke pipe cannot vent normally.
If the gas water heater ignites and sparks but quickly goes out, the smoke pipe may be blocked or too long.
Solution: If it is blocked, clean the smoke pipe and reinstall it if it is too long.
